Defensive Drill & Play
Win More Points by Losing Fewer of Them.
If you wanted to improve your win percentage, where would you start?
- Finding more ways to attack and win points?
Or - Becoming harder to score against?
At Darkhorse Dinkers, we prioritize the second one first.
Defensive Drill & Play is built around strengthening defense fundamentals that keep you in rallies, neutralize pressure, and turn difficult situations back into playable ones.
If much of your pickleball is from your arm strength — this session will introduce you to a different side of the game.
Expect to work on:
- Resetting under pressure
- Defending attacks and speed-ups
- Handling balls at the body and feet
- Recovering court position after being pushed back
- Transition-zone defense
- Turning defensive situations back into neutral — and eventually offensive — ones
We will have a mix of 45min drills and 45min games to practice skills in real games
This isn’t about playing cautiously. It’s about becoming harder to beat.
See you on the courts!
